Rock n Roll Savannah or bust!

It has been 11 days since my half marathon in Seaside, FL and my running volume has increased significantly. I want to invest 6 weeks at a minimum of building my aerobic base before I begin my training for my first marathon. I heard read/heard that your first should be about finishing but I have a goal in mind. It is kind of out there since I have never run this far before but I want to run a BQ for my first. I figure with as much time as I have to train as long as I can stay healthy, this goal is big but not impossible. The magic number for me since I have started running was to average 70 miles a week before training for a marathon. Last week I hit 72 miles and this week I am on pace for the same. Don't have a set training plan but am influenced by the theories of Arthur Lydiard and Brad Hudson. Hopefully, this blog will help me to stay on track as well as get some feedback on my training.
